Dr Shereen Tadros

Consultant in Clinical Genetics

Dr Shereen Tadros is a consultant in Clinical Genetics at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Dr Tadros runs genetics clinics at Great Ormond Street, the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and in Essex, seeing both children and adults.  She leads the adult-onset neurogenetic disorders clinic which provides advice and testing for diseases such as Huntington Disease and prion diseases. She has a special interest in medical ethics and is a member of the GOSH Paediatric Bioethics Committee, as well as the Ethics and Policy Committee of the British Society for Genetic Medicine.  She also helps run the Genethics Club, a national forum for the discussion of practical ethical problems encountered by UK clinical genetics healthcare professionals. She has a background in genomics education and is currently a Consultant Education and Training Lead for North Thames GMSA.
