Dharmisha Chauhan

Lead Pharmacist

Dharmisha Chauhan is the lead pharmacist within the North Thames Genomic Medicine Service Alliance, leading on the delivery and equitable uptake of pharmacogenetic testing and supporting the use of precision medicine into routine clinical practice. Another key focus is the provision of education and training across both post-graduate and undergraduate levels to improve genomic literacy within healthcare at a multidisciplinary level.

Dharmisha also works as an oncology pharmacist at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and has clinical experience in sarcoma, skin, melanoma, head and neck and lung cancers. Clinical work surrounds empowering pharmacists and nurses to co-develop joint prescribing clinics and supporting immunotherapy toxicity management. She currently works within the lung cancer unit as an independent prescriber, focusing on targeted treatments.
