Beth Kimpton

General Manager, North Thames GLH

Beth graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Biological Sciences, following a dissertation studying the genetics of Daphnia Magna (water fleas). Following this Beth gained a post graduate diploma in Healthcare Leadership and entered her career in the NHS via the Graduate Management Training Scheme.

Following this, Beth continued working in healthcare in the Southwest, and had experience of project management, operational service delivery and workforce planning before relocating to London. In London Beth spent 3 years at the Evelina London Children’s hospital as a Service Manager and Deputy General Manager of Paediatric Medicine and was proud to be part of the team who set up the Paediatric Post Covid service at the Evelina. Beth then made the move to the NTGLH where she looks forward to putting her experience to use in the ever-changing, exciting world of Genomics.
