Pathway transformation

Pathway transformation projects within the NHS allow teams to rapidly integrate new technology into care pathways.

The Genomic Medicine Service Alliance works closely with NHS Trusts, charities and industry partners across the country to bring new genomic tests and technologies to patients. We work with patients and families throughout ensuring their views are incorporated and heard at every stage.

Sudden Cardiac Death

When someone dies suddenly, this can be due to a genetic cause, meaning relatives may also be at risk.  Gold standard care is to recommend genetic testing on the loved-one who died and offer clinical screening to relatives.
