Education and resources
This page includes education and training resources developed by colleagues across the North Thames GMS and signposts to other websites with useful Genomics educational tools.
As genomics moves into routine clinical care, all NHS professionals, not only those in specialist departments, will need some level of genomics knowledge, including the impact it can have on diagnosing and treating patients with cancer or a rare disease.
We recognise that healthcare professionals will require different levels of education, depending on their role and experience. In this section we aim to provide a comprehensive catalogue of useful resources which will contribute to the education and training of NHS staff, from introductory resources through to CPD courses and masters in genomics.
